Combining knowledge & experience

Environmental law can be tough to wrap your head around. We have experience ranging from negotation of highway improvement plans to preserve valuable and important assets for a corporation, professional license defense, and navigating the permit process for environmental and construction permits.

So many times in litigation we see a failure due to poor understanding of how environmental law matches the scope of the project actually occuring at a construction site or a manufacturing plant. As with anything, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We'd be glad to talk to you about permitting questions ahead of time prior to or in the early phases of a project.

We helped research the impact of building a bat tower

We were contacted by a homeowner who had an issue with his city wanting to place a structure in the park that was effectively in his backyard. Rather than get into a combative situation with the city, we put together a scientific report on the structure that outlined therisks and liabilities associated with the proposed placement and suggested several alternatives.

We then circulated this report with city council, local real estate agents, and other decision-influencers.The structure was placed elsewhere and the homeowner never had to get into a contentious discussion with the city.

We're not just lawyers, we're engineers

We have advanced degrees in environmental and environmental health engineering, along with a wide range of experience in environmental and regulatory law. We combine our deep technical experience in environmental and regulatory law.
